Syracuse, New York Stamp Show - Part 2

Hi everyone, Steph here again with Part 2 of the "behind the scenes" look at setting up for a show in Syracuse, New York.

It takes most of Friday to get the booth set up and the product organized.  I was lucky enough to teach a class Friday morning and then we had 83 people that evening for a make and take party.  It was a long day, but the make and take party was fun.

A demo table is set up in front of the booth so The Stamp Doctor can demo a variety of products and techniques and it was one of the show's highlights.

While customers shopped the booth, they could also see the new Stamp Doctor dies in action and learn some tips and tricks for using assorted products from glue pads to embossing powders to sticky paper, and more.

Saturday and Sunday were busy with customers, demos and our make and take table.  The Stamp Doctor dies (Pop-a-Top 17, Pop-a-Top 18 and the Center Step Dies and coordinating dies) were a hit as we showed customers how to use them in lots of different ways.

Unfortunately the show does end and promptly at 4pm on Sunday, we began the arduous task of packing up.  At this point, it has been a long weekend and we are exhausted, but we still have lots to do.  So, as we put everything together Friday morning, it now has to be taken apart, the product has to be secured for the next show and it has to be loaded back onto the trailer and secured so it arrives safely at it's next location.

Now, it's onto the next show at the Better Living Center in West Springfield, MA.

We hope you'll stop back next week for more photos and highlights of that show.

Steph
